Do you have a funny feeling that something’s not quite right with your relationship? Gut feelings mean something – your girl may be cheating on you. On top of that, you might want to keep an eye out for some other signs of cheating. Be careful, signs are that only – signs. You need evidence before you call her on it. Is she getting a bit more dressy in her habits? Is she wearing a bit more makeup than usual? Those could be signs of cheating. An appearance change often accompanies a wandering girlfriend. Was your girlfriend once the pretty but plain Jane? Whoa! Then what’s with the new sexy clothes and new hairdo? Women often start to gussy up when they want to start turning heads. You probably remember how she used to dress “to-the-nines” when she wanted to turn your head. Pay attention. Why is she dressing up so hot for a “night out with the girls”? A second sign may be the amount of time she starts spending away from you. What about “nights out with the girls”? Happening more often? Don’t just shake your head, that could be another signal that your woman is fiddling around. Is she really spending all that extra time at work or with or friends? Yes. If she’s spending more of her free time without you, either something’s wrong with the relationship or she’s cheating. Perhaps you’ve noticed that she’s not as “cozy” as she used to be. Not as intimately playful as she used to be. That may be your third tip-off that she’s cheating. Most women are, by nature, affectionate. A growing lack of affection could be cause for alarm. All of a sudden her affection for you dwindles where once she was avid. That could also be a signal that your girl is cheating on you. Does it seem like she’s acting when she holds you? Are there no more kisses goodbye? Perhaps the folks that you and your girl used to hang out with are starting to avoid you. That could be the fourth indicator. Do you notice that her best friend is avoiding you during parties? How are her work friends treating you? Sort of cold? Most folks don’t want to get involved in fidelity issues and that’s why they’ve been dodging you. Those folks aren’t disliking you, they just don’t want to get in the middle of a big row between you and your girlfriend. Be gentle with those who are trying to bypass you, but do gently grab them by the arm and see if they’ll talk to you about your girl. When she starts telling lies to cover her tracks, that’s your fifth and most obvious signal. Have you caught her being two-faced regarding some circumstances? Does she use other people to cover up her lies? If you’re going to cheat, you’re going to have to lie. That’s the nature of the cheating game. You can catch cheaters red-handed, but they’ll still lie. And some of the lies can get rather hilarious as they involve too many details or are over-explained. Of all the things mentioned above, lies are the best indicator that your girlfriend is cheating. Sometimes it only takes one instance of the activities mentioned above to figure out you’re being cheated. If you discover more than one, you’re probably the victim of your girlfriend’s cheating. But don’t be a jerk. Before you accuse her of cheating, you need to have some solid evidence, not just signs.
